Over the years, she trained extensively under top-notch instructors and honed her skills in Latin and ballroom styles. From competing in local events to becoming a cherished instructor at our AAH Dancing with Confidence Sessions, Jody’s path exemplifies how commitment leads to success. During the championships, participants perform various dance styles to electrifying music, creating an exciting atmosphere. Winning a medal here is not just a personal achievement but a mark of exceptional skill and artistic prowess. Only about 8% of competitors will take home medals, making Jody’s success all the more impressive.

Over two years ago, AAH was in a complicated situation. We wanted our dance sessions so much, but we found ourselves without a dance instructor. An introduction to Jody was the start of a whole new world. Who could ever imagine that such a talented instructor would give her time to help AAH members learn to love our dancing more? But nearly every Friday, Jody drives an hour to get to us, runs the dance session for a minimal fee, and then drives back to her place to run more classes.

Jody is one of those few exceptional people you meet in this world who does what she does not for what it achieves for herself, but for what it gives to others. She wants to share her experience, developed teaching skills, and overall love of dancing with others. She has done this for our small group, and we appreciate what she has done for us.
