We have not had an AAH Walk for several months due to people being away. But here is one that you will enjoy. Very picturesque and close by. Nothing better than a pleasant 7 km walk early in the morning to start of your day. Fee is $10 and a free coffee tea or other drink at the end and socialise.

About the event
A 7km walk (with the option to walk an extra 3 km’s for those who want a longer walk )
We start at the Mt Cootha Summit, lookout car park, and walk a track towards Ch 9. Then, we descend to Simpson Falls Car Park and finish at Slaughter Falls Car Park.
At this point, we will have a carpool to take people back up the hill to the Mt. Summit Lookout.
: at the 7km mark at the Slaughter Falls car park, you may wish to walk back to the Mt Cootha lookout summit via the Summit track. This is a 3-km uphill walk that will suit those who want a bit of uphill walking."An option is"
